IOT project - Indian Ocean sea Turtles
Following the actions and results obtained thanks to the pIOT pilot project, the IOT project consists of deploying 10 tags and 5 receiving stations, in each of the different study sites across the southwestern Indian Ocean basin (Reunion Island, Mayotte, Scattered Islands, Seychelles), between 2018 and 2021. The objective is to complete technological developments and pre-industrialize a new generation of tags as well as to create the first regional observation network for marine turtle movements.
